Job Purpose and Overview
he Junior Buyer plays a key role in supporting the purchasing operations of our distribution business in Poland. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, coordinating procurement processes, and contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your career in purchasing within a dynamic and international environment.
You will report to the Purchasing Department Manager and work closely with supply chain, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and supplier performance. As our business continues to grow, you will be encouraged to take initiative, propose improvements, and contribute to the development of our procurement function.
What will you do as a Junior Buyer at AGART?
- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers and coordinate the purchasing process
- Actively search for new suppliers and monitor market trends
- Prepare requests for quotations and analyze received offers
- Monitor and analyze prices across products and purchasing categories
- Verify and complete purchasing documentation, supervise deliveries, and initiate corrective actions when needed
- Collaborate in creating demand forecasts
- Manage assigned product categories and maintain supplier relationships
- Prepare purchasing-related reports and analyses to support decision-making
What does it take to be a Junior Buyer at AGART?
You are a proactive and analytical professional with a passion for procurement and supply chain operations. You enjoy working independently, managing priorities, and building strong supplier partnerships.
You also recognize yourself in the following profile:
- Several years of experience in a purchasing department in an semi-independent role
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract creation is nice to have
- Practical analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Good command of English for daily business communication with suppliers
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management
- Experience in import processes will be an additional asset
