The key responsibilities of the Operational Excellence Lead will include conducting process reviews, performing root cause analyses, developing improvement plans, implementing lean manufacturing principles, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, leading cross-functional teams, and monitoring progress. You will be working on the development and execution of the Dawn Europe & AMEAP Operations Continuous Improvement Strategy, which should be in line with Dawn's overall goals and objectives. This role is for someone who has a passion for not being satisfied with the status quo!

This role is based in Amstelveen and will report to the VP Operations and Regulatory Affairs EU & AMEAP.

Fundamentals of the position:

• Assist in production operations to drive improvement in manufacturing efficiencies by utilising continuous improvement techniques
• Resolving technical problems such as formulation, equipment, product, interpretation of regulations, and resource availability
• Identifying intervention priorities and indicators
• Conducting detailed analysis of the current situation that accurately describes the issues
• leading continuous improvement projects
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodology throughout the manufacturing facility and processes.
• Drive the standardisation of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices
• Production process development with full documentation support
• Work with multiple diciplins and Test to deliver a robust and cost-effective end to end process
• Maintain KPI targets in line with business strategy
• Assist in setting annual operational targets and drive improvements to achieve those targets
• Assist Dawn Europe & AMEAP Operations Team agenda and progress meetings
• Provides Monthly progress update to EALT (EU & AMEAP Leadership Team)
• Identify and implement new technologies, specification of requirements, Capex justification, planning and implementation

• Provide World Class Manufacturing techniques to support  Continuous Improvement.
• Will pursue continuing training to maintain a level of expertise equal or superior to associates in the business field.

To be successful you will bring:

• Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred; however, training would be available to further develop a Green Belt
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• A degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related discipline is highly desirable
• Sound knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies and systems planning
• Cross-functional business team environment experience preferred
• Proven ability to self-manage and deliver on time to budget
• Excellent inter-personal skills to build relationship internally and externally
• Reliable and flexible in their approach
• Fluent in English and Dutch (verbal and written)
