This is a very exciting opportunity to ensure the legal compliance of all Dawn products sold within the EU & AMEAP region.
Your goal will be to provide sound regulatory information and advice to support product launches, maintaining dossiers and re-designs products in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Dawn policies. You will be reporting to the Regulatory Manager EU & AMEAP within a team of regulatory experts based in different countries. The role is based in the European headquarters in Amstelveen, The Netherlands.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure regulatory Compliance of Dawn Branded products in accordance with sale market regarding ingredient, product formulation, pack copy generation
- Prepare and maintain product dossiers
- Representing the Regulatory Affairs team where appropriate with (project team) meetings to advise on specific compliance implications
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, particularly in relation to communications about our products, such as labelling and marketing.
- Supports in providing regulatory information to sales and answer Regulatory questions and questionnaires from our customers
- Giving of regular training to stakeholders on important (new)Regulatory requirements.
- Represent Dawn Foods’ interests with regard to legislation and regulations on nutrition, health and sustainability for our products in various consultative bodies. This involves working closely with key stakeholders from R&D, Marketing and Sales.
- Build and maintain a relevant network related to food, health and sustainability legislation and regulations.
- Horizontal Regulation scanning for the region to support the Sales colleagues in strategic decisions when necessary long term.
- Coordinate implementing new changed legislation when applicable for Dawn foods
What do you bring?
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or other food science-based degree.
- A knowledge/understanding of Food Legislation guidelines and codes of practice, with 3-5 years experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills.
- Intercultural effectiveness, strong communication & relationship-building skills
- Proven project management and implementation skills will be essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- High level of digital literacy & proficiency in using (web-based ) ICT systems.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written), other EU language is a plus
- Knowledge and experience about ingredients, food processing and specifically bakery processes and equipment
