Job Purpose and Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Data Publication Specialist I with experience in the food and beverage industry to manage customer inquiries and ensure accurate, timely delivery of product and supplier information within a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a shared inbox used by customers to request product specifications, compliance documents, supplier certifications, and other technical materials. The individual will triage incoming requests, prioritize based on urgency and requirements, and collaborate with internal teams to gather and provide accurate documentation.

Schedule: The working schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time. Some flexibility in start and end times may be available, based on business needs and in coordination with your manager.

Work Setting & Travel Requirements: This position is fully remote within the United States, with up to 10% travel to the corporate office for team meetings, company events, or strategic planning sessions.

 

What will you do as a Customer Data Publication Specialist I at Dawn Foods? 

  • Monitor, triage, and respond to all incoming customer requests for product and supplier documentation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Verify that all documentation shared meets internal quality and date standards and relevant compliance requirements before sending it to customers.
  • Maintain product content and vendor information within customer-required portals (e.g., SafetyChain, Repositrak, Document Compliance). 
  • Facilitate completion and submission of item setup forms, product questionnaires, vendor agreements, and food safety documents to meet Key Account requirements.
  • Recommend and help implement workflow enhancements, automation opportunities, and standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and reduce response time.
  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs, QA, R&D, Procurement, and Sales teams to collect and validate product data and supplier information to support customer needs.
  • Other data publication and support duties as assigned.

 

What Does It Take to be a Customer Data Publication Specialist I at Dawn Foods? 

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.   

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • An associate’s degree in business administration, quality assurance, food science, or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in product data management or regulatory/quality data coordination in the food industry, in lieu of a degree
  • Basic understanding of food labeling laws, FDA requirements, and food safety and quality processes.
  • Experience working with shared inboxes, customer service portals, or quality documentation systems
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively navigate regulatory databases and online compliance management portals.
  • Experience coordinating crossfunctional requests or managing technical/compliance documents is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative and relationship-based approach in working with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation 

$49,240-$73,860 with bonus eligibility
