Job Purpose and Overview
The Regional Controller is a key business partner to the Regional Distribution Centers in the United States and Canada and the Supply Chain COE supporting North America. This role leads financial understanding and stewardship across the NA supply chain. The person in this role provides financial analysis, guidance, and insights on effective and efficient Supply Chain execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial modeling and forecasting, cost analysis, cost-saving opportunity identification, as well as expert communication skills to audiences at all levels of the organization.
Work Environment & Travel: This is a remote position with up to 20% travel. Candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones to be considered.
What will you do as a Regional Controller – NA Supply Chain at Dawn Foods?
- Lead financial KPI analytics and business partnering with Supply Chain and Commercial Finance to drive insights and actions improving cost, working capital, pricing support, and supply chain execution across NA.
- Lead and support the development of business policies and performance measures, leveraging technology to enhance visibility, standardization, and decision-making.
- Forecast, analyze, and Report North American warehousing and transportation costs by distribution center.
- Champion financial considerations in Supply Chain Network Design by building models to evaluate scenarios under consideration, including distribution center location, network capabilities, and equipment make versus buy.
- Lead financial tracking and analysis of Route Optimization project.
- Develop and report metrics to track efficiency and improvement opportunities related to distribution center performance.
- Routinely analyze data, investigate issues, variances, and trends, identify solutions, and recommend actions based on business analytics to guide key business decisions.
- Promote clear understanding of the financial impact of operational issues and opportunities.
- Design, implement, and administer financial systems and procedures.
- Responsible for all aspects of difficult projects that are broad in nature and require originality and/or ingenuity.
- Perform a variety of necessary tasks for all assignments, including preparing work plan and schedule, completing detailed analysis and research, identifying options, preparing reports for management, and recommending action or change based on findings.
- Assist in the development of business policies and performance measures.
- Conduct special financial and business-related studies as requested by management.
- Work collaboratively across company functions and the entire finance team
- Provide back-up support for other Finance positions as required.
- Perform analyses that are complex and varied in nature.
- Duties require significant evaluation, originality, and ingenuity.
- Provide coaching and guidance for Financial Analysts as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

What Does It Take to be a Regional Controller – NA Supply at Dawn Foods?
Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is required.
- Master’s degree in finance or a similar focus is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant financial experience as a Finance Business Partner.
- Hands-on financial experience in a supply chain, distribution, or logistics environment is strongly preferred, ideally with freight/transportation cost management and multisite operations across the US and Canada.
- Strong commercial business understanding coupled with the desire to understand the detail as well as the strategic view
- Expert at building annual budgets & forecasts and managing performance within financial parameters is required.
- Ability to develop new business strategies and lead cross-organizationally to translate strategies into action.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex situations in easy-to-understand and digestible thoughts to all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP or comparable ERP experience required; Oracle experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven priorities

Compensation
The base salary for this position is $107,840-$177,930 with bonus eligibility.
