Job Purpose and Overview

Reporting in to the Managing Director – UK & Ireland, the Sales Manager – Manufacturing will develop sales of the company’s product range through the development of new business opportunities, while maintaining current business activities. The role will have specific focus on growing Dawn’s profile within the Manufacturing sector.   

This is a Field-Traveling position, where you will be traveling daily to customer sites.

What will you do as a Sales Manager at Dawn Foods? 

• To achieve and exceed goals, objectives and budgets, as agreed with the Managing Director – UK & Ireland.
• To demonstrate the company’s products in a wide range of situations.
• Develop a clear understanding of Dawn capabilities and communicate them clearly to new and existing customers.
• To update and prepare planners, sales reports, project briefs and any other reports as needed in a timely manner.
• To continuously improve knowledge of the industry – specifically with regards to Manufacturing.
• To manage all new accounts effectively, efficiently and profitably.
• To maintain and grow sales margins by customer.
• To negotiate sales and promotions with new and existing customers.
• To work effectively with NPD and Marketing departments in the development of new products for customers.

What Does It Take to be a Sales Manager at Dawn Foods?  

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.   

• Minimum 5 years sales experience
• Trained baker or extensive bakery knowledge
• Knowledge of UK Bakery Manufacturing industry
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Ability to travel (Flying, Driving, Overnight travel as needed)
• Flexible and adaptable to change
