Job Purpose and Overview

As a Junior Finance Controller, you will play a critical role within the management team of our plants, acting as a key link between Finance and Operations. You’ll contribute to the strategic development of the site in alignment with our overall group strategy. In this business partnering role, you’ll support the Plant Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and operations teams with expert financial insights. From leading the budgeting and forecasting cycles to managing CAPEX and monthly closings, your contribution will help drive operational excellence and financial performance. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative, fast-paced, and international FMCG environment.

What will you do as an Junior Finance Controller at Dawn Foods? 

• Act as the financial business partner to local operations leadership, representing Finance in all local decision-making processes.
• Lead the budgeting process and ensure accurate product costing, cost evolution analysis, and supply chain cost control.
• Support procurement and operations in identifying raw material and conversion cost variances with proactive mitigation plans.
• Manage CAPEX requests and investment follow-up, ensuring alignment with group standards and accurate reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closings and financial reporting in line with group formats.
• Drive local implementation of controlling standards and systems (e.g., Exact, Oracle) and act as key user.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal, and tax requirements across all financial operations.

What Does It Take to be a Junior Finance Controller at Dawn Foods?  

You are a results-driven finance professional with strong business acumen and a passion for operational excellence. Your ability to translate numbers into insights makes you a valued partner across teams.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a multinational environment, ideally in FMCG.
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, CIMA) is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Enova, SAP); Oracle and BI reporting experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and Polish (written and spoken).
