Job Purpose and Overview
The Financial Analyst III will work within the Commercial Finance team and be a key business partner supporting the Commercial sales team with responsibilities in P&L management. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a role demanding proactive decision-making & strategy guidance. They will be externally focused and business partners with Sales, Marketing, R&D & Commercial leadership at all levels.
Remote/Hybrid Work Eligibility & Travel Requirements: Hybrid Schedule with 1 day per Week at the Brampton Location and as needed for training and meeting purposes.
What will you do as a Financial Analyst III at Dawn Foods?
- Provide strategic business partnering to deliver profitable financial growth while providing a full spectrum of financial control.
- Deliver strategic & operational support to the commercial sales team.
- Conduct pricing analysis at micro & macro levels.
- Analyze key business drivers & present clear, concise recommendations based on findings to influence business decisions.
- Develop business analytics to support key decision-making & profitability governance.
- Ability to work closely with our international finance teams to ensure appropriate consolidation and assist special projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our processes and controls.
- Support financial planning & forecasting.
- Takes initiative and executes under supervision to achieve task, department, or Company objectives.
- Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support the Dawn Circle of Excellence.

What Does It Take to be a Financial Analyst III at Dawn Foods?
Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in both accounting and financial analysis is required.
- Knowledge of and experience in the food industry preferred.
- SAP information system experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines
- Ability to provide financial support and handle multiple tasks within an open and interactive environment.
- Excel experience, comfortable analyzing large data sets, utilizing pivot tables & charts, creating graphs, VLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.
- High attention to detail
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership throughout Dawn. This position must be seen by other Team Members as a knowledgeable business partner.
- P&L management, accounting, commercial operations, and supply chain experience preferred.

Compensation Range:
$80,340.00 - $120,520 with bonus potential
