Objective of the position

The purpose of this role is to lead and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of the accounting and financial reporting processes, aligned with both US GAAP and local standards. The position is responsible for managing month-end close activities, asset control, account reconciliations, and audit coordination (internal and external), while implementing governance policies and maintaining strong communication with global teams. The role also involves team leadership, fostering trust across regions, and leveraging SAP expertise to support business operations—ideally within the consumer goods or food industry.

Essential Functions

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under both US GAAP and local.
• Oversee fixed asset management, including additions, disposals, and controls.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure financial governance.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, acting as the main point of contact with auditors
• Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to global teams among others

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree on Finance, Controlling or similar
• Solid accounting expertise
• Strong asset management skills
• Proficiency in account reconciliation
• Ability to implement governance policies and internal controls,
• Leadership in internal and external audits
• Excellent communication skills
• Preferred experience in the consumer goods or food industry
• Advanced English
