Basic Purpose:
Under the direction of the Integration Manager, the Integration Engineer will develop integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using multiple programming methods and tools including but not limited to; SAP Integration Suite and its components (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh, & Edge Integration Cell), SAP PO, SAP Data Services
The Integration Engineer is responsible for, but is not limited to, the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow development standards and procedures
- Deliver quality integration solutions
- Unit and system testing of integration solutions
- Resolve problems of critical application development issues
- Collaborate with other IT resources and business stakeholders
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, information systems or related, or equivalent work experience with applicable associate’s degree
Related Experience/Requirements:
- At least 3 years of progressively more responsible design and implementation experience in IT.
- Prior experience using SAP Cloud Integration (CI) and Process Orchestration (PO).
- Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment experience
- Development experience with Integration Adapters including HTTP, SOAP, XI, SFTP, IDOC, RFC, Process Direct, and Open Connectors
- Experience with all integration steps (Groovy Scripts, Routing, Content Modifier, Mappings, Value Mappings, etc…)
- Experience with SAP API Management (Based on Apigee
- Experience with SAP Open Connector
- Experience with SAP Event Mesh or Advanced Event Mesh
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Problem Solving
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to adequately document development solutions in line with standards
- Integration testing methods
- Agile development methodology
Physical Requirements:
- Up to 10% travel
Schedule: This is a Monday–Friday day position, 60% office - 40% home office. This role is based on Mexico City being part of a Global Team. Working in an Easten Time Zone (US & Canada).
