Job Purpose and Overview
The Network Engineer specialize in Microsoft Teams Voice supporting a global teams solution, including conference rooms and call center voice solutions. The role also supports telephony integration and management of session border controllers. This role is also part of the network team and assists in general support and on call of the global network.
Schedule: This is a Monday–Friday day position, 60% office - 40% home office. This role is based on Mexico City being part of a Global Team. Working in an Easten Time Zone (US & Canada).
What does it take to be a NETWORK ENGINEER III at Dawn Foods:
- Bachelors or Associates in Networking or Related
- Advanced English is essential for the role
- Certified Cisco CCNA or related Cisco certs or coursework
- Certified MS Teams or MCSA or MCP
- Voice or Telecom training or certs
- 2 years supporting an MS Teams voice network with experience in a general networking role
- Microsoft Teams Administration: Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams environments.
- Telephony Integration: Experience with integrating telephony systems, including Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Teams Calling Plans.
- PowerShell Scripting: Ability to automate tasks and manage Teams environments using PowerShell .
- Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of networking concepts, including QoS (Quality of Service), firewalls, and VPNs.
- Audio/Video Conferencing: Managing and optimizing audio and video conferencing solutions .
- Device Management: Handling Teams-certified devices and ensuring their proper configuration and maintenance.
- Security and Compliance: Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communication: Clear communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and oversee small projects related to Teams deployment and management.
- Collaboration: Working effectively with telephony providers, third-party vendors, and other IT teams.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and meet deadlines.
- Support of Call Center Solutions
- Participation in Oncall Rotation
- Assistance in after-hours and weekend activities
- Some Travel Required
