Job Purpose and Overview

At Dawn Foods, we believe that people are our most valuable ingredient. As our People Business Partner DACH & Nordics, you’ll drive business transformation by aligning strategic HR initiatives with organizational goals across both regions. You will partner with senior leadership and local teams to elevate the employee experience, improve processes, and support sustainable growth. With approximately 90 employees in DACH and 3 in the Nordics, this role is both strategic and hands-on, offering the opportunity to shape the People agenda and drive meaningful impact. You'll be a key contributor to the regional leadership team, fostering trusted relationships and challenging the status quo to continuously improve HR operations and efficiency.

The position reports to the VP People for Europe & AMEAP and directly manages the People Generalist DACH.

 

What will you do as a People Business Partner at Dawn Foods?

  • Align key HR initiatives with business objectives across the DACH region as part of the local leadership team.
  • Collaborate closely with local management, the central People Team and the VP People to develop people strategies and provide insights.
  • Build trusted relationships with leadership and stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and change agent.
  • Guide long-term workforce development through strategic workforce planning and succession management.
  • Enhance the full employee lifecycle experience, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Drive organizational culture, engagement, and a sense of belonging in collaboration with people managers.
  • Analyse people data to inform business decisions and support the design of impactful HR strategies.
  • Ensure legal compliance, manage Works Council relations, and oversee payroll and other daily people-related operations.

You are a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and loves driving performance through people. You have a deep understanding of cultural and legal HR landscapes and enjoy partnering with leadership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

 

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR Business Partner role within an international environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of German employment law and proven experience working with German Works Councils.
  • Experience in a manufacturing organization is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working with the Nordic market is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (written and spoken).
