Job Purpose and Overview

As part of our quality management team, you ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. You work closely with various internal departments as well as external laboratories and suppliers and play a key role in ensuring product safety and quality.

In this role, you are responsible for the quality of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products – using chemical-physical, sensory, and microbiological analyses in an operational production environment.

What will you do as a Quality Control Assistant at Dawn Foods? 

• Conduct and monitor quality analyses according to specifications and inspection plans
• Evaluate and release analysis results and initiate and follow up on corrective actions
• Maintain and update inspection and test plans in SAP
• Document test results and participate in deviation, complaint, and improvement processes
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Production, Supply Chain, R&D, and Purchasing
• Coordinate with external laboratories and suppliers

What does it take to be a Quality Control Assistant at Dawn Foods?  

You are a quality-conscious, analytical thinker who enjoys actively shaping product safety. You are motivated to take responsibility, work independently, and ensure high quality standards as part of a team.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Completed scientific university degree (e.g., Biology, Nutritional Sciences, Food Science) or food-related vocational training with at least three years of professional experience in quality control
• Knowledge of quality management systems and recognized standards (IFS, BRC, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001)
• Familiarity with food law requirements, hygiene regulations (LMHV, Regulation (EC) 852/2004), and HACCP principles
• Experience with chemical-physical, sensory, and basic microbiological testing methods
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP, with good German and English language skills
