The Erquinghem-Lys site (59193) manufactures products for bakers and manufacturers, such as fruit fillings, fondants, creams and toppings.

The position is based on our industrial site, in the R&D department, with a strong functional relationship with Production and Quality:

What will you do as a Product Developper at Dawn Foods:

- You will develop products in line with the needs of a customer or market (toppings, fondants, hot topping products, ready-to-use, etc.).

- You improve existing products in terms of flavour, raw materials, production processes and/or costs.

- You will develop a recipe and manufacturing process that can be upscaled to industrial production, taking into account HACCP, BRC rules and food legislation.

- You will apply, update and follow R&D procedures.

- You will provide advice when setting up a new production line, a new machine or new packaging.

- You will act as a trainer for operators and management in terms of knowledge of products, raw materials and manufacturing processes.

- You will report to the R&D CoE Manager EU & AMEAP.

What does it take to be a Product Developper at Dawn Foods:

- You are an engineer and/or have a master's degree in agro-food, biotechnology or chemistry (5 years' higher education).

- Ideally, you will have some proven initial experience in the food industry in a research and development and/or quality function.

- You have a good knowledge of HACPP and ISO standards. BRC knowledge is an asset.

- You are familiar with the Office suite and SAP

- You can work independently and as part of a team

-  You have a good command of written and spoken English.

- You are prepared to travel occasionally to our various plants in Europe.
