Job Purpose and Overview

The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator is responsible for order recovery and optimizing our EDI systems. You will ensure efficient communication and data exchange with our partners, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to streamline processes. Your role will be pivotal in improving operational efficiency, data accuracy, and timely error-free transaction processing.

Work Environment & Travel: This is a remote position with the requirement to reside in either the Eastern or Central time zone to be considered. While being local near the Home Office in Jackson, MI, is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role involves limited travel, up to 10% of the time. 

What will you do as an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator I at Dawn Foods? 

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve transactional errors, identifying ongoing and repeating errors.
• Maintain I-Trade and other third-party product catalogs.
• Oversee EDI recovery workflow, complete PartnerLinQ acknowledgments, and respond to emails to minimize operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely data exchange through data analysis and mapping corrections.
• Develop and maintain documentation for EDI recovery, transaction processing, and data mapping.
• Manage open support tickets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What Does It Take to be an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator I at Dawn Foods?  

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.   

• A High School Diploma or GED is required
• An Associate Degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing B2B EDI transactions and processes from order intake to invoice delivery
• Experience with ERP Systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to troubleshooting, and driven to find permanent solutions
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, to be able to work collaboratively with internal and external partners

Preferences: 

• SAP Experience
• I-Trade Experience
• PartnerLinQ Experience
• Basic knowledge of EDI standards and transaction types

Compensation

$49,240-$73,860 with bonus eligibility
