Dawn Inspire Internship Program interns will benefit from:

Shift Schedule (If Applicable): Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with willingness to flex work hours.
Work Eligibility & Travel Requirements: This is a full-time position, working on-site out of our Jackson, Michigan Manufacturing and Corporate site.
Interns will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Jackson office from May 19 - May 22 for onboarding, and from August 6 - 8 for final presentations. These are mandatory participation dates for the internship program.

- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with an interest in working in the Consumer Product Goods or Food industry. Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
- Strong interest in the industry or field related to the internship.
- Basic knowledge of relevant concepts, principles, and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

- Assist in the initial development of EPA and environmental regulatory compliance program elements including:

- Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
- Assist with review and revamp of Dawn’s core EHS&S policies, procedures, programs, systems, and training related to:
Physical Work Demand & Work Environment

- Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects up to 50 pounds.
- Normal setting for this job will be a combination of manufacturing laboratory and production floor environment.
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: Wheat/Gluten, Soy, Milk, and Egg.
- All PPE requirements are to be worn while inside the Plant (hairnets/safety boots/ smock must be worn)

Compensation:
Undergraduate - $25/hr
Graduate - $27/hr
