Job Purpose and Overview
Supervises and coordinates the activities of the Production Team. Ensures safe production of quality products to meet customer needs in the most cost-effective manner. Promote both food and personal safety.
Work Environment & Shift: On-site daily to support 12-hour shifts, with rotating 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 on, and 2 days off within a 2-week period.
What will you do as a Production Supervisor at Dawn Foods?
- Establish and drive safety as a core value through training, equipment and job design, work assignments, and regulatory compliance.
- Assures that all products produced meet product specifications, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish high-performance standards in housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), American Institute of Baking (AIB), International Food Standard (IFS), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements.
- Manages daily production requirements to consistently meet customer expectations.
- Evaluate team performance efficiencies and coordinate necessary resources.
- Coaches, teaches, coordinates, and evaluates programs for team members to develop skills advantageous to the company's needs and goals.
- Able to manage some initial employee relation matters and conflict
- Participates as a key member of the plant leadership.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Manager.
- Adhere to the Food Defense and Security functions within the facility.
What Does It Take to be a Production Supervisor at Dawn Foods?
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- At least 3 years of Supervisory experience in manufacturing is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computers required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize.
- Good written and verbal communication skills required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be mature and have the ability to resolve issues in a timely, organized, and cost-efficient manner.
- Proactive, self-directed independent worker with self-confidence.

Compensation
$65,380-$100,690 with Bonus Potential
