Job Purpose and Overview
In this role, you will oversee and optimize accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with global standards. You will play a key part in managing post-acquisition integration, harmonizing financial processes, and supporting the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. Leading a team of 3, you will drive continuous improvement and help stabilize the accounting function in a growing and dynamic business environment. What will you do as an Accounting Team Lead at Dawn Foods?

• Oversee the Planning & Control cycle in line with Dawn Foods standards for the Royal Steensma business.
• Ensure accurate execution and optimization of Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Lead and develop the accounting department, creating an engaging and high-performing team.
• Provide expert advice on complex accounting and fiscal matters for the department.
• Harmonize and stabilize accounting functions to support post-acquisition integration.
• Play a key role in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA across the business.

What Does It Take to be an Accounting Team Lead at Dawn Foods?

You are a hands-on and detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment. Your leadership and technical expertise will help us elevate our accounting function to the next level.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• At least 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, including experience leading a finance team.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Dutch VAT and fiscal regulations.
• Experience in an international company is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and systems; SAP and/or Exact Globe experience preferred.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
