Purpose of the Role
As a Customer Service Team Member at Royal Steensma, you play a key role in achieving the commercial objectives of the entire organization. You are the vital link between our customers and various departments within our factories. Together with your colleagues, you ensure optimal customer satisfaction and efficient collaboration.
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from sales, planning, production, logistics, and more. You will report directly to the Manager of Customer Service.
What will you do as a Customer Service Team Member at Royal Steensma?
- Advise and inform prospects and customers, both nationally and internationally.
- Process orders in Exact while considering stock levels and other relevant factors.
- Maintain sales and client records.
- Input pricing information and handle complaints and customer inquiries.
- Monitor delivery times and pricing and arrange transport.
- Ensure accurate documentation and information for deliveries.
- Collaborate and communicate with departments such as planning, logistics, and production.
What does it take to be a Customer Service Team Member at Royal Steensma?
You are a commercially driven professional with excellent organizational and communication skills. You are solution-oriented, proactive, and thrive under pressure. Additionally, you match the following profile:
- At least a bachelor's degree or equivalent work level.
- A minimum of 2 years of commercial work experience, preferably in a B2B environment within the food industry.
- Availability of at least 32 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, German is a plus.
