Job Purpose and Overview:

The AP Supervisor will be responsible for performing routine activities (hands on) and supervise AP functions for several locations as well as maintaining and improving KPIs for the area.

What will you do as an AP Supervisor at Dawn Foods:
• Supervising and providing support to the AP team
• Ensuring correct verification of electronic vendor invoices/credits/documents
• Scanning vendor invoices/credits using our OCR system connected to ERP (SAP)
• Processing manual vendor invoices/credits through to ERP (SAP)
• Reconciling purchase ledger accounts and confirming balances with vendors
• Dealing with approvers/authorisers to resolve outstanding queries
• Dealing with vendor queries
• Assisting with payment runs
• Assisting with Month-End Close – cut off, analysis of pending items, reconciliations
• Providing Standard Reports & Query Resolution for locations
• Assisting with Internal & External Auditors
• Leading other accounts payable projects.

What does it take to be an AP Supervisor at Dawn Foods:
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – another European language is a plus.
• Experience & knowledge in SAP.
• Working experience in multi-location (Europe) responsibilities.
• Knowledge of best practice AP operations and processes, specifically end-to-end understanding of the process.
• Ability to support and participate in implementation of process improvements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, process driven, systematic, analytical with a keen eye for details.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of integrity and ethics
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in systems and technology.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once and meet competing demands to satisfaction of all.
