Job Purpose and Overview

The purpose of this role is to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing as well as effective HR administration and benefits management, in compliance with local labor law, tax regulations, and internal policies. The position is responsible for payroll activities, employee lifecycle administration, cooperation with external payroll and benefits providers, and providing professional support to employees on payroll, benefits, and HR-related matters. The role supports business as well as HR and Finance teams through reliable data, reporting, and continuous improvement of payroll and HR administration processes in an international environment. This role is based out in two our locations: in Żerniki and Poznań. We are looking for potential to grow within our organization.

 

The Payroll, Benefits & HR Admin Specialist role can be summarized as follows:

  • Prepare, verify and process monthly payroll data, including salaries, deductions, and benefits
  • Cooperate with external payroll and benefits providers to ensure data accuracy and timeliness
  • Handle HR administration across the employee lifecycle (contracts, amendments, employee records, onboarding and offboarding documentation)
  • Administer employee benefits programs and support employees with benefits-related inquiries
  • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, taxes, benefits, and HR administration
  • Monitor changes in labor law and payroll-related regulations and ensure ongoing compliance
  • Prepare payroll and HR reports and provide data to Business, HR and Finance teams
  • Support audits, internal controls, and documentation related to payroll and HR administration
  • Participate in payroll, HR administration, and benefits process improvement initiatives

What Does It Take to be a Payroll, Benefits & HR Admin Specialist at Dawn Foods?  

You are well organized, analytical and have ability to work in a structured way with attention to details. Your attitude is to get things done and be accountable for the job. Continuous willingness to learn as well as curiosity about hr related topics would be a great fit.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of labor law, payroll, and tax regulations and willingness to learn
  • Experience in HR administration and employee benefits management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and service-oriented mindset
  • English & Polish language proficiency is a must
  • Experience in an international or multi-country environment is an advantage
